Your appointment has two parts. First, one of our dental hygienists will do a professional cleaning, removing plaque and tartar buildup that regular brushing can’t reach. They’ll clean between your teeth, polish the surfaces, and check your gums for any early signs of gum disease.
Then your dentist will do a full exam. We check every tooth, your bite, your jaw, and your soft tissues, and we screen for oral cancer. If we spot a cavity, we’ll talk you through your options, which may include a simple filling or, in more advanced cases, a crown. You’ll leave knowing exactly where things stand.
